Sworn to Raise
I FAILED OUT OF THIS BOOK.It felt like a mishmash crossover fanfiction, with most of the basic worldbuilding ideas ripped off other books/series. That said, there was some interesting worldbuilding around it, and the introduction to Our Hero, Ciardis was enough to keep me following along, until the Prince showed up. Wow, he was annoying. Also, it felt like Ciardis reverted to her initial character at that point, without any of the stuff she'd learned from the Guild.
Also the pacing was generally crap, and the writing was MEH.
