Not as great as some other Milan books, but it's the first in a new series and I'll give it some slack for that.

I did quite enjoy it. I didn't find the banter as flip or as callous as some of my friends did, but it's a very ymmv situation. I found the chemistry between the two leads immediate and very compelling, and I LOVE pining. The central conflict was very compelling as well, very much not just "made up" or a lack of communication. I mean, better communication would have helped, but there's still a problem there.
