Silent in the Grave

Silent in the Grave - Deanna Raybourn I liked this, but the rough edges are rough. Pacing is also rather rough. Having read her later books, the author gets better, but.

Book also comes out somewhat in the red on the sad gays. There are also happy gays, but that was a lot of sad gays. Thought the bit where Julia is sad because her dead husband was gay, not that into ladies, and boning dudes on the side and also maybe gave her syphilis was pulled off with a rather delicate touch but still. A lot more sad gays than I like.
